I always wanted to check this place out. It brings a nostalgia of an earlier time, where one of my early college dealers worked out of a deli. You’d go in, buy a Ruben, a bag of chips, and a drink and you’d ask for a guy in the back. You’d tell him what you were looking for without using cannabis terms, and you’d pay $60, $120, or $200 for an additional 1/8th, 1/4, or 1/2 of indoor on top of your meal price. It was always a treat to walk out with lunch and your next bag of weed.
This dispensary looks the part.
When you go in they only let two people into the shop at a time. Everyone else has to wait in the lobby. Foot traffic wasn’t crazy, so it was pretty quick getting in. Overall it had all the big California brands represented. It was a little smaller than I expected. And Bellflower is a bit deep into inland LA, so traffic on the freeway was rough even at 4PM. Catalyst has a shop a little further down on the same street too, which makes sense as most shops are often in the same towns that allow them.
Overall, cool to see this shop and love the aesthetic.
