But not a big enough step to override a veto

I follow the Virginia market for a few reasons. 1) I went to high school there and I know there is a deep agricultural market that that would make great cannabis, much like how Virginia wines are growing in popularity. 2) Virginia is a purple state which should be a bell-weather for the movement of the industry. NoVa is blue and Southern Virginia is red, and many on both sides want this product accessible. 3) Glen Youngkin frustrates the shit out of me. As a Rice grad, I add him to the shitty political alumni list that seems to speak only to the most conservative perspectives. Thank goodness for Ben Rhodes, Josh Ernest, and Annise Parker for holding it down.
This is the first article I’ve also shared here that is from a news source I have followed since early days. Jeremy Berke has been on the cannabis beat since before I got into this industry over 4 years ago. I started following him when he was at BI and now he has started this publication, Cultivated. I highly recommend following him if you want deep insights to this space.
Again, I am here to aggregate and cultivate, and while I was but a simple English and Political Science major in my past life, i’ve never professionally written, as my website will show at times. I fancy myself a good writer sometimes. Sometimes I could use more work. At least I live here in LA which is a culturally significant centerpoint of the cannabis industry, so I can see new products and new spots early on.
Cultivated is new and great and worth following because those guys are deep in the know on a lot of aspects of the industry that I don’t have eyes into. Like this article above.
