I feel the WSJ is the most fear mongering of the traditional papers, but I do think it’s important to hear what they’re talking about when they talk about the cannabis industry.

If vetted medical studies could be done, similar to the studies of alcohol and tobacco, I think we’s learn a lot about the harms and benefits of cannabis. It certainly turns out alcohol and tobacco aren’t great for you at even small levels, but with cannabis it’s always presented as a psychotic boogieman, whereas alcohol and tobacco are old hat norms that people just “struggle” with. The WSJ had a long article last week about Wall Street people abusing adderall and ritalin as commonplace at the big banks. And they are presented as much less scary and done more by professionals…curious indeed.

All substances can be abused and no one, kids or adults, should abuse things that are harmful for them. I don’t dab. I don’t do inhalants anymore. But I support the creation of different products in the space that can serve different market verticals. Rosin is potent, but it is also made from fresh frozen flower and ice water agitation. Hence, solventless. It can literally be the purest form of cannabis, without burning carbon or involving chemicals.
